This came highly recommended by a friend before I went over to Hong Kong. Their specialty? Cheese noodles.
This is cheese noodles with grilled pork neck.
Basically instant noodles, topped with copious amount of cheese. This sounded pretty gimmicky to me but honestly, it was fairly nice. In fact, you can’t go too wrong with cheese anything right? Mac & Cheese, cheese baked crabs to something as basic as cheese toast.
However for me, I find that anything with this much cheese is better for sharing. The portion served was not big but you get into a little bit of cheese coma eating one whole bowl on your own. So share, people!
And if you are already happy with the cheesy noodles, then the grilled fragrance of the thinly sliced tender meat will elevate this dish to a new high. To me, the real star of the dish was the grilled pork neck which is what will entice me back.
Try this. folks. I have a feeling it will be a crowd pleaser (unless of course you shun cheese. They do serve cheese noodles with chicken instead of pork).
Sun Kee has two outlets (I went to the one at Wan Chai). If you are going to Oddies Foodies (read review Here) then it’s good to visit the Sun Kee Wan Chai branch.
